Ghana Universities Woo Nigerian Students

Ghana Universities woo Nigerian Students – Alhaji Abdulahi Abukari, the Consul-General of Ghana High Commission, on Friday advised Nigerians to take advantage of educational opportunities in his country. Abukari gave the advice at the closing ceremony of the second Ghana International Education Fair held at the consulate premises in Lagos.

He assured Nigerians, interested in studying in Ghana, of stable academic calendar and facilities. The consul-general said that the fair was organised to share information on education opportunities in Ghana with prospective Nigerian students.

“The fair seeks to avail relevant information concerning education in Ghana to parents and young Nigerians. “It is to admit qualified young men and women who wish to study in well established, acknowledged and accredited higher learning institutions in Ghana.

“The fair is a means to promote the growth in Ghana’s educational system and find solutions to problems of students in other African countries,” he said. According to him, there are currently over 250 higher education institutions in Ghana.
